Maybe people complain that the commercial games industry is stuck in a creative dead-end, essentially only building rehashes of the same basic themes. Is this true? Is there really no innovation in the commercial scene? If so, what’s the cause? Are the developers to blame? The producers? Or maybe the market itself?
